I’m gradually getting more familiar with WordPress. If you hit this site at the wrong time, you will see me playing with new templates & formats (I’ll be going down to one sidebar soon: the first sidebar isn’t terribly useful). Unfortunately I haven’t worked out how to set up an offline test environment, so I’m afraid all my playing around is done on the live site. Ouch.
The latest development is the ability to comment on individual pages (there’s always been the facility to comment on individual posts - and thank you to those who have left comments). Do please give it a try and see if it works.
I’m still trying to work out how to port my events calendar into WordPress. I know what I want to happen (it involves some new fields in the database and some new php coding) but it’s taking a while to read up enough tecchie stuff to know how to do it. The final leap will be importing my K-film database onto this site. But that will be a while yet. Maybe I need to find myself a tame php/mySQL geek…
