I’m now receiving comment spam at the rate of about one thousand per week. Most of it is caught by the Akismet spam filter, but the filter is now missing about 10% - which means my email inbox is getting clogged up with requests from my blogging package to approve all these bits of spam, to the tune of about 20 per day.
Time to take action. I’m trialling a new plugin called Did you pass Math? by Steven Herod. Hopefully the little test you have to complete when you leave a comment won’t be too taxing for you.
