Did you see the video of the countdown of new year in Seoul shown on Sky News? It seems like they got their verbal countdown seriously out of synch with the flashing numbers causing them to go from 5 to 1. For the past few years I have lamented that the New Year’s roundup is always the same going from Sydney to Tokyo to HK to Moscow, Berlin London NYC and always omitting Seoul. This year they were there and for the 0.0000001% of people in the UK who understand Korean it was embarrassing…
