The Korean Food Festival will be held tomorrow, 12 July, at the Fountain Pub, 120 Malden Rd, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 6DD. [Map]
Word of mouth tells me that the format will be pretty much the same as last year – so it will be starting at lunchtime (maybe from about noon) and continuing all afternoon, probably wrapping up by 6pm. But the food will have gone by then, so turn up for lunch.
Guitar / Kayageum duo Jeon Sung-min and Jung Ji-eun will be performing at around 1pm, and Jang Sang-min and Chang Hang-jin will be there with their free books about Korean culture. They may even have some publicity flyers for LKL. Visit their own newly revamped site at kscpp.net.
At the time of writing the weather for tomorrow is forecast to be pretty variable. Let’s hope for the best. Like last year, the festival clashes with my own local village fair, so I’m not going to be able to come. Make sure you have some kimchi for me.
