The holiday season would not be complete without a performance of Handel’s Messiah. On 10 December there is a rare opportunity to hear a Messiah with a difference: translated into German and re-orchestrated by Mozart for a Viennese performance in 1789, 47 years after its Dublin premiere. The Elysian Singers perform with the Kensington Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Sam Laughton.
