Korean Cuisine is known across the world for its taste and overall well-being. To make the Korean kitchen more accessible, Master Chef Tony Yoo, will introduce a range simple, delicious and healthy Korean dishes. Chef Yoo’s demonstration will include dishes with seasonal ingredients and traditional desserts including rice cakes and drinks. At this talk participants will also have the opportunity to taste a wonderful selection of Korean cuisine.

* Tony Yoo is currently the Executive Chef at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. He formerly worked as the Head Chef at the contemporary Korean cuisine restaurant ‘D6’, as well as at the Aqua Restaurant in San Francisco, well known for having been awarded Two Michelin Stars.

He was also the mentor chef of the ‘Miracle Project’ to develop and create food based on rice organised by The Korean Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and subsequently received a commendation from the Agriculture Minister for his great contribution to national food. In 2005, he was the Champion of the Korean Rice Cake Competition and has sat on the judging panel of the Delicious Seoul Story Cooking Contest several times.
