The London Korean Film Festival is the highlight of the month, but there’s plenty more besides.

Exhibitions

  • The KCC’s Artist of the Year exhibition, Sora Kim’s 2, 3, continues all month.
  • There’s an exhibition of film posters at the Picturehouse Central during the film festival.
  • Shine Artists in Albemarle Gallery hosts a solo show by Lee Jeongwoong, 5-28 November.
  • Yiyun Kang, Samsung Korean Digital Art Resident at the V&A, is holding open studio on 7 and 25 November

Screenings

  • The London Korean Film Festival opens at BFI Southbank on 2 November with Ode to My Father and closes on 14 November with Love And… There’s a listing of the films here and a printable A3 calendar of the schedule here. The press release giving an overview of the festival can be found here.
  • This month’s screening of TV Drama pilot episodes on 5 November (thus going head-to-head with A Midsummer’s Fantasia and The Piper at the film fest) features Diary of a Night Watchman and My Love From the Star.
  • The hallyu classic My Sassy Girl will be screening at Sheffield Hallam University on 25 November.
