Programme to include music by Bach, Haydn, Chopin and Ravel, plus works by Robert Butts, Paul Wilkinson and Jaesu Park.

International concert pianist Lynn Czae is in London and Edinburgh this week and will be at Schott Recital Room with a programme including works by Bach, Haydn, Chopin, Ravel, Robert Butts, Paul Wilkinson and contemporary Korean composer Jaesu Park. Czae, who trained at the Julliard School, has won many prestigious awards such as the Mozart International Piano Competition (France) and New York’s Keyboard Artist Prize.

She has been acclamed by critics for her “astonishing touch, with magical colors of musicality” and for her captivating presence by audiences. Beside her touring schedule, she is active in musical education and promoting the arts, has given masterclasses in several countries and is a member of the Piano faculty at Manhattan School of Music, visiting professor at California State University (Northridge) and associate of the piano faculty at Kyunghee University in Korea. She is President and Executive Director of the New York Classical Music Society, with whom Schott have an association of many years, and the City of New York has bestowed on her its Citation of Honor award for her continuing commitment to the musical arts.
