LKL friend and sometime contributor Colette Balmain will be presenting on the subject of K-horror next week. Ties in nicely with the female directors strand in the London Korean Film Festival.

Dr Colette Balmain, Senior Lecturer at Kingston University, will talk about the work of South Korean female directors who have directed horror films including Bang Eun-jin (Princess Aurora: 2005), Yun Jae-Yeon (Yoga: 2009), Kim Mee-jung (Shadows in the Palace: 2007), Byun Young-joo (Helpless: 2012) and Lee Kyoung-Mi (The Truth Beneath: 2015).
