Event news: an introduction to Korean beauty tips and products

I’ve always wondered what benefits snail secretion filtrate brings to your daily cosmetic regime. I’m hoping to find out this week.

As always, registration is necessary for this event, and note that the RSVP is to the embassy, not the KCC.

Korean’s 11-step skin care routine, dewy skin makeup and puppy-like eye makeup have fascinated all beauty gurus, K-pop lovers and now even the general public around the world.

Korea has created few of the biggest makeup trends of the moment as well, such as smudged, stained lips and ‘strobing makeup’. Key is the way Koreans approach makeup, which is to focus on looking after one’s self inside and outside, protecting the skin and enhancing the natural beauty one has rather than covering with strong and vibrant colours like they do in western countries.

Maria Gomez, a Korea-born professional makeup artist, will let non-Korean to see and experience the K-Beauty in life, get makeup tips which can be applied to their daily routine and product recommendations.

Please attend this event, please RSVP to [email protected].

For enquiries, please contact Press Office at [email protected] or 0207 227 5500.
