If you are contacting me from Korea, I often find that yahoo.co.kr and other Korean domains refuse to accept email from me. Either add londonkoreanlinks.net to your list of trusted addresses, or leave an alternative email account I can use. Also, check your spam folder as sometimes people’s spam filters are over-enthusiastic in catching emails from me.
I used to run a mailing list to tell you about upcoming events. But maintaining the list became too cumbersome and time-consuming. So if you want to receive emails about upcoming events, join the LKL Facebook Group. You’ll get a monthly email, and the occasional email in between if there are special updates which I think you need.
The silly question which is asked in the third line of the contact form is to check that you’re a real person as opposed to an annoying little spambot. The answer is pretty easy, and it’s not case-sensitive.

Great site! Just wanted to let you know (of course, you may already by this time) that in your “Of Ostriches and Royal Warrants” post dated 18-Dec-06, it’s Kim Tae-Hee in that still picture, not Han Ye-Seul. Possibly just a typo…?

Due to recent expansion, the European Captioning Institute (ECI) is now looking at expanding its pool of experienced, freelance translators who specialise in translating from Korean into English and are based in London.
Our requirements are:
- Native English speakers preferred, but Korean native speakers may also apply.
- Subtitling experience highly desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Must have outstanding translation skills from Korean into English.
- Excellent understanding of modern Korean colloquial language and culture.
- You must be able to come and work in our London office, often at short notice.
