The International Conference on Peace and Reconciliation: In Search of a Common Identity
The Korean Peninsula and Other Contexts
15-18 August 2006
Establishing a common identity is an important part of any process of reconciliation. In the case of reconciliation between North and South Korea, this is particularly pertinent. The nature of the conference is interdisciplinary but perspectives from theology and religious studies will be particularly to the fore. Although the focus of the conference is on the Korean peninsula, relevant research on the topic of peace and reconciliation in other contexts will bring a most welcome contribution to the discussion.
