An announcement received via EJ Shin, the librarian at the KCC in London:
The National Library of Korea (NLK) has announced that they would very much like to purchase any antiquarian books on the subject of Korea (published outside of Korea prior to 1950).
Any publications on the subject of Korea, regardless of the languages or the nationalities of the authors, can be purchased by the Library. However they must be published outside Korea. The price is subject to negotiation between the parties upon the evaluation from a group of professional appraisers.
The ownership will be possessed by the Library once the contract has been made up by both parties. The deadline will be open until the 3rd December, 6pm by local time. For more information please contact [email protected] or call on +82 (0)2 590 0736
