Covering things Korean in London and beyond since 2006

Thank you

Front cover

Tonight at the Korean Cultural Centre, I’m told that it was a record attendance for a Global Korea Lecture.

So, thanks to the people who came along to my talk. I think I said most of the things I wanted to, but missed a couple of things.

More importantly, thanks to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for funding my trip to Korea last year and the printing of the book, and for paying for the hospitality for the evening. Also to the staff of the KCCUK for helping out, and an especial thanks to Hye Jung, DJ and Director Won. Best wishes to Hye Jung and Paul on their upcoming wedding in Korea this week.

Thanks also to Sena for the lovely bouquet of flowers and to Louise for tolerating my Korean hobby.

Sorry to Sancheong County for not saying more about the attractions of the county, and to the Korean Cultural Centre for not plugging their activities more. And sorry I didn’t answer some of the questions as well as I should have, in hindsight.

It was very nice to meet so many people who seemed to appreciate LKL. My book is what struck me as interesting in my week in Korea last year. I hope you find it interesting too.

  1. Congrats on what sounds like a great talk! Is the book now available – is there a link I can post?
