E J-yong month concludes with Actresses + Q&A

I’ve been enjoying this month. Even though I only managed to get to one screening of E J-yong’s films at the KCC (which happens to be my favourite one), I’ve used the month as an opportunity rewatch my DVDs of Untold Scandal and Asako in Ruby Shoes – both of which I enjoyed much more the second time round – and to introduce myself to Dasepo Naughty Girls, which is impossible not to like. I’m looking forward to Actresses on Thursday. Not just because Lee Mi-sook is in it, but because it’s followed by Q&A with the director himself. Don’t forget, this one is at the Apollo Piccadilly, not at the KCC, so you need to book through the cinema’s box office linked below.

Actresses

Director E J-yong mixes reality and fiction by bringing together top actresses to play themselves on screen. This should be the first attempt in Korea to break the rules of the fashion world.
