News of a charity art show this weekend: the HeartArt weekend art show is raising money for Heart Radio’s charity ‘Have a Heart’ and includes fun fundraising features including a brilliant prize draw, celeb donated art auction, and the opportunity to purchase art and craft by a selection of extraordinary artists – including Francesca Cho.
WHAT: HeartArt is a new volunteering activity launching a summer and winter ArtPR and charity event as part of a biannual student-art exhibition produced to promote a selection of London based undergraduate and postgraduate artists whilst raising awareness and funds for Heart radio’s charity Have a Heart. The activity also includes an art auction of surprise celebrity drawings donated to raise money for Heart’s charity. Events are being part sponsored by John Jones.co.uk
WHO: Party & Paper – a local voluntary art promotions agency annually promote UK children’s charities by gathering a selection of highly skilled London illustrators, photographers, graphics and fashion designers, sculpture, textile, and craft makers, all under the age of thirty to have new works displayed discovered and sold at networking ‘art afternoons’.

WHY: Publishing & Media student, Monelle Bryce founded voluntary ArtPR agency Party & Paper in 2010 after having toured City Youth Art Afternoons every summer and winter across London since her teens. Since 2005 Monelle managed to secure over £10,000 in funding to host and coordinate annual art and charity promotions events held at venues such as The Dorchester Hotel and The Foundling Museum; HeartArt will be her 11th exhibition produced through the promotional works of her dissertation-project agency, Party & Paper.
“It’s exciting to connect creative people together and organize seasonal artshows for charity – the events provide free publicity for artists who are unable to afford traditional costly PR, young artists especially appreciate opportunities to introduce and sell worthy works to trade and the art-loving public.”
HeartArt opens its spring/summer weekend artshow on Friday 27th April 2012 until Sunday 29th April. Charity Fundraising Support includes a cute piggy bank at Lucy in Disguise; Hummingbird Bakery cupcakes featured for sale at the art weekend event; a luxury prize draw; and ‘celebrity drawings’ art auction.
