The British Korean Law Association has pleasure in inviting you to a RECITAL by Grace Yeo (piano) at St Vedast alias Foster, 4 Foster Lane, London EC2V6HH (by kind permission of the Rector and Churchwardens) on Thursday, 5th July 2012 at 6.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 each (which includes interval drinks) and can be obtained in advance by completing and returning the attached booking form. Early booking is advised.

Grace Yeo was born in Seoul, Korea and studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London. Awards include Leverhulme Trust, Craxton Memorial Trust and Philharmonia Orchestra/Martin Musical Scholarship Fund. Grace won First Prize and Audience Prize in the Intercollegiate Beethoven Piano Competition supported by Beethoven Piano Society of Europe and also was the top prize-winner of the C.Bechstein-Samick Piano Competition and the Norah Sande Award Competition. Most recently, she was awarded the Premio Speciale Rosa Logrieco-Beethoven Prize at the Arcangelo Speranza Competition in Italy.
In masterclasses, Grace has played to Andras Schiff, Paul Lewis, Imogen Cooper, Stephen Hough, Lesile Howard and Dominique Merlet. Her performances with orchestra in UK include Royal Albert Hall (Grieg’s Piano Concerto), Birmingham Symphony Hall (Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto), Eastbourne Congress Theatre and Norden Farm Centre (Mendelssohn’s First Piano Concerto). She has given many solo recitals in London venues including Kings Place, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, St. James’ Piccadilly, Drapers Hall and Salters’ Hall and recently in December 2011, she gave a solo recital at the Royal Festival Hall supported by Philharmonia Orchestra/Martin Musical Scholarship Fund.
Forthcoming dates for 2012/13 include a solo recital at Wigmore Hall supported by Kirckman Concert Society and other recitals sponsored by the Concordia Foundation, the Rachmaninoff Society and the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe. She also played Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto with AllSouls Orchestra as part of Prom Praise at the Royal Albert Hall in April 2012.
ABOUT THE BRITISH KOREAN LAW ASSOCIATION
The BKLA was formed in 2005 as an international organisation to promote the fellowship and relations between the legal professions in the United Kingdom (“UK”) and the Republic of South Korea (“Korea”). The BKLA is recognized as a bilateral law association by the Law Society of England and Wales. The BKLA is based in London, the UK and open to the members of the legal profession in both countries (including law professors and researchers) and to the employees of Korean companies or organisations in the UK who are involved in the procurement of legal services.
