Hong Sang-soo’s Hahaha to screen at BAFTA, with Moon So-ri Q&A

People who know me will be aware that my sincere appreciation of Hong Sang-soo’s work does not mean that I always stay awake during his movies. But having been to Tongyeong since the first time I went to the theatre when Hahaha was screening, I know I’ll be wide awake for the upcoming screening on 4 April at BAFTA. Not only will there be the excitement that Moon So-ri will be in town, but also I’ll be trying to spot all the Tongyeong landmarks in the movie. I promise I won’t be constantly shouting out “Been there!” when I see Admiral Yi Sun-shin’s memorial temple, or whatever the location is. But that’s what I’ll be thinking.
