The Kimchi Project at The Greenwich Series

Antonia-120Many of you will have come across Antonia Mochan’s Kimchi Project – her one-woman campaign to visit all the Korean restaurants within Zone 1 and to review the quality of their kimchi, while raising money for charity. She’s giving a little talk about her project at The Greenwich Tavern on 1 July at 8pm as part of The Greenwich Series:

The idea is to give speakers five to ten minutes to talk about their field of expertise, with the only underlying themes being technology, creativity and communication. It’s all come about because we believe social networks are great, but seem a bit pointless if it’s not helping us meet new people and get into our communities, so we want you to get out from behind your screen and get to a live event, with real people, real communication, real beer, and real creative fun.

Other talks in the evening are on the subject of Chernobyl and using social media to find a job. So go and support her over a pint or two. The Greenwich Tavern is at 1 King William Walk, Greenwich, SE10 9JH. [Map]
