Details of the K-Drama Week screenings, 25 – 28 Sept

The upcoming week of Korean drama promoted by the KCC is your opportunity to sample three dramas or to binge-watch a complete series. Separately there’s a chance to see a feature-length theatrical screening of IRIS, but here are the details of the screenings of episodes from the TV dramas, which will be held at the KCC:

K-Drama Week: Screening Events

25+26 September: 6.30pm-8.30pm
27+28 September: 10.00am-8.00pm

Korean Cultural Centre UK

This is a special screening event to watch Korean TV drama series with the chosen genre for this year being the thriller / detective genre: Gabdong (2014), Two Weeks (2013), 3 days (2014), and Sign (2011). Especially, the whole episodes of Sign with record viewing figures in Korea will be screened during the weekends.

With regards to obtaining the free tickets for these events, please register by emailing or calling and simply letting us know which screening event you want to attend as well, in that case, you will be able to request a total of four tickets (1+3). The free tickets for these events are however limited and once our allocation are gone, they are gone.

Episodes 1-2 of Gabdong

Synopsis: The series is based on a real-life unsolved Hwaseong serial murder case, which involved raping and murdering of ten women between 1986 and 1991 in Hwaseong City, Taean village. The case also inspired the film Memories of Murder in 2003.

Synopsis: This drama begins with an assassination attempt on a president by an unknown suspect. The sound of three gunshots resonates in the night. In just three days, the missing president must be found and the forces behind the assassination have to be stopped.
