You can often rely on the Thames Philharmonia to put together an interesting programme with a Korean angle. In June they will be presenting Bruckner’s 8th along with Hee Jung Kang’s concerto for traditional Korean instruments with symphony orchestra. The soloists, the Daegu Hyangje Julpungnyu ensemble, will also be performing at the Korean Cultural Centre the day beforehand.
