Otoboke Beaver

Otoboke Beaver are an all-female quartet from Kyoto, Japan, consisting of Accorinrin (lead vocals and guitar), Yoyoyoshie (guitar and vocals), Hiro-chan (bass and vocals) and Pop (drums and vocals). The band’s name is taken from a local ‘Love Hotel’.

Taking a nod to the likes of Melt Banana, Shonen Knife, Bo Ningen, Guitar Wolf and The Boredoms, they play brilliant noisy, ballsy punk rock and sing in Japanese (or Kyoto slang).

Crazed, deranged garage, punk-rock-pop at break-neck speed, the band are influenced by western Riot Grrrl attitudes and the sounds of punk and angular post-rock. Live, they play frantic fast-paced 18-20 song sets and often invade the audience, stating “you will not able to take your eyes off us”.

Say Sue Me

From Busan, South Korea, four-piece Say Sue Me are a unique act that play very serious instrumental 60’s Surf combined with dance-able, catchy, fuzzy, Indie-Rock. Their sound mixes the members’ favorite 60’s surf music with the 90’s American slacker indie scene.
