  1. Just got copies of ‘1636’ and ‘Korean Vernacular’ – hoping for a copy of ‘Table for One’ nearer the pub date. hadn’t heard of the Yi Sang collection, so thanks for that 🙂

    1. Ah, didn’t realise Vernacular was out already! Really looking forward to dipping into 1636. I quite enjoyed Pak Chiwon’s 1780 travelogue Jehol Diary, so an eyewitness account of the siege of Namhansanseong should be interesting.

      Fyi, I’ve been playing with the coding of the site over the past couple of weeks: upcoming publications that I’m tracking can now be found here https://londonkoreanlinks.net/books/upcoming-books/ . As the clock ticks the items will populate the past titles page https://londonkoreanlinks.net/books/past-titles/ and the coding will ultimately mean that I don’t have to manually update my indexes of book reviews.
