K-pop UK National Competition 2023
The Kpop UK National Competition returns for its 5th year. Presented by KBCE and London KPop Dance Workshop (LoKo).
Finalists from all over the UK will compete to win in our categories of Kpop Dance, Kpop Vocal, Freestyle Dance Battle and our newest category, Original Choreography. The winner of each category will receive £200 and the overall competition winner will receive £400.
The competition is a place for UK Kpop fans to showcase their talent on stage and introduce Kpop to a wider audience to enjoy.
LKL says (on 1 May 2923): The annual Kpop UK National Competition has just launched its application window for this year, with the finals announced for 9 July 2023 in Kingston’s Rose Theatre.
They don’t have a website, and the competition will be promoted primarily via social media, and in particular the Instagram account @kpopuknationalcompetition.
At LKL, we confess to being Insta-luddites, but from scanning the most recent posts, here are some of the key details. In addition, it looks like they’re introducing a new category this year – original choreography – though we can’t see details of that yet.
Monitor the Instagram account for more details and application links.

Hello, me and my dance group would like to perform at next year’s competition. I would just like to enquire about the categories for dance. Can we cover a kpop dance or does it have to be an own choreography?
Kind regards
Hi Ava
I’m afraid you’re going to have to ask the organisers, KBCE
