The Kpop UK National Competition 2024 has officially launched. The finals will be in Kingston’s Rose Theatre on Sunday 20 October – full details to be announced. In the meanwhile, the important thing is to get your application forms in.

1. Dance Category
HOW TO ENTER
- Gather your dance crew or dance solo! Applicants must be 16 years old and over.
- Choose a Kpop song to cover. Must be original song, no mixes will be accepted.
- Film it and upload it! Or send us the link of one of your existing covers. Please refrain from altering your routines with edits e.g too many video cuts. Duration of application video must be at least 2 minutes long or the entire song.
- Applicants may only apply once for each category.
- Send your application form and video link back to [email protected] between 15th July 2024 – 8th September 2024
- Please upload your cover to YouTube and ensure the video setting is set to ‘public’ or ‘unlisted’ for ease of all our judges to view.

- The application link will be live from Monday 15th July 8:00pm.
- Our team will screen and approve all applications before accepting them. Any discrepancies regarding your application, we will be in contact via email.
- Applicants must be over the age of 16 years old.
Judging Stage
- From the video submission applications, a panel of online judges will choose the finalists that will participate in the live final round.
- The finalists will be announced on Sunday 22nd September 2024 as participants that have a guaranteed place in the Sunday 20th October 2024 live final.
- The list of finalists will be announced via @kpopuknationalcompetition social media platforms and will be contacts via the listed email contact on their application form.
Finals
- Finalists will perform live at the Rose Theatre in Kingston on Sunday 20th October 2024.
- Judges will score each performance and the judges will choose one winner from each category and one overall winner.
2. Vocal category

- Sing your heart out as a soloist or vocal group. Applicants must be 16 years old and ow
- Choose a Kpop song to cover. Please note, original artist backing vocals must not be on the track.
- Film it and upload it! Or send us the link of one of your existing covers. Duration of application video must be at least 2 minutes long or the entire song.
- Applicants may only apply once for each category.

3. Original Choreography
HOW TO ENTER
- Gather your dance crew or dance solo! Applicants must be 16 years old and over.
- Choose a Kpop song to create your original choreography to. Remixes are allowed in this category. The choreography must be the duration of 2 minutes.
- Film it and upload it! Or send us the link of one of your existing videos.
- Applicants may only apply once for each category.
- Send your application form and video link back to [email protected] between 15th July 2024 – 8th September 2024.
- Please upload your cover to YouTube and ensure the video setting is set to ‘public’ or ‘unlisted’ for ease of all our judges to view.

4. Freestyle Dance Battle

- Solo dancers only for Freestyle Dance Battle. Applicants must be 16 years old+
- No video submission needed.
