About the Author

Seo Ije graduated from the Film Department of the Seoul Institute of the Arts. In 2018, she was the recipient of the New Writer’s Award from the Literature and Society (Munhak kwa sahoe) Journal for her short story, ‘Zen for Celluloid Film.’ Her Korean-language short-story collection, Towards 0%, was published in 2021.

About the Translator

Rachel Min Park is a translator working from Korean to English and Ph.D student in the Department of Comparative Literature at UC Berkeley where she researches Cold War epistemologies of gender in Korea and Vietnam. Her previous translations have included short fiction, subtitles for documentaries, and an academic monograph.
