
Antoine Boyer draws inspiration from the most authentic sources of gypsy jazz guitar, having studied under masters such as Mandino Reinhardt and FrancisAlfred Moerman. He has toured extensively, gracing stages at numerous gypsy jazz festivals across Europe and the US, and has shared the stage with guitarists like Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Raphael Fays, and many others. In addition to his mastery of gypsy jazz, Antoine is also a classically trained guitarist, winning the prestigious 2015 Montigny Classical Guitar Competition and earning the “Révélation Guitare Classique 2016” award from the esteemed French magazine Guitare Classique. His eclectic musical background has shaped a unique playing style that seamlessly blends various guitar techniques accumulated over the years.
Yeore Kim, a harmonica virtuoso, has been a prominent figure in the Korean jazz scene since her teenage years. A multi-instrumentalist, she is proficient in trumpet, drums, cello, and piano. Yeore holds a master’s degree from Seoul Music University and has achieved victories at esteemed competitions such as the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival, Seoul Harmonica Festival, and the World Harmonica Festival. She has lent her talents to diverse music groups, touring extensively in Korea, India, Japan and more recently Europe, across genres ranging from jazz and reggae to theater collaborations, tango, pop, and rock.
The paths of Antoine and Yeore converged in 2018 at the Gypsy Jazz Festival of Taipei, Taiwan, where they shared the stage for the first time. Recognizing the magic of their musical connection, they decided to form a duo, both in music and in life. Their musical chemistry knows no bounds, captivating audiences with a repertoire that spans pop and jazz standards alongside mesmerizing originals. From the strum of the guitar to the soul-stirring wail of the harmonica, their unique fusion transports listeners to a realm where every note tells a story.
