Albert Hall

Sarah ChangKorean American violinist Sarah Chang will be appearing in a programme of popular classics at the Albert Hall tomorrow night in a charity concert put on by Classic FM. Alex James from Blur will be guest conducting the Northern Sinfonia orchestra in the theme from the Onedin Line. Chang will be playing everyone’s favourite fiddle concerto, Bruch 1. The Coldstream Guards will be there too, so can we expect something noisy such as the 1812? Your guess is as good is mine, because the Albert Hall website tells you pretty much zilch. The concert is in aid of Music Makers, Classic FM’s official charity.

The concert is at 7:30 on 24 September.
