Thames Philharmonia plays Beethoven

The Thames Philharmonia features Korean conductor Yu Byung-yun with Korean pianist Cathy Cheongmi Park, playing Beethoven’s third piano concerto. The programme starts with the Egmont overture and finishes with the Eroica Symphony.

The orchestra performs three or four concerts a year. These take place locally in South West London or in Central London. Some concerts have been given in support of charities. The players are of all ages and include keen amateurs, teachers, students and retired professional musicians. Most concerts feature soloists from different nations of the world.
