I just received an email from Japako magazine in my inbox – a new magazine (available by preorder) that covers Korean and Japanese pop music and culture. Their 2nd issue is available for preorder now, with a special deal to get the first issue as well. Here’s what they told me:

Japako Music was founded in Berlin by two fans and has since expanded and launched a magazine last month. We are one of the first English language K-Pop magazines and it is now available worldwide. Through the magazine, we aim to give fans all the latest music related news, as well as album, concert and music video reviews. We will also interview artists and include some culture articles too.

We are a professional magazine, aiming to promote our magazine and the artists we feature to the best of our abilities. Our first issue featured VIXX, Global Icon, Lunafly and Tiger JK & Yoon Mirae. We also included articles on Kyungbok Palace, K-Fashion trends on the street and in Music, particularly TVXQ’s Something, and K-Dramas (Iris II & The Masters Sun).

Our second issue, which will soon be available for preorder, will feature C-Clown, A-Prince, Yun of Lunafly and Superstar 2K contestant Kim So Jung. We also include posters with every issue.

They have their own Facebook page and website, and UK readers can place orders here. Their Twitter handle is @JapakoMusic.
