Gig news: Monotones + Billy Carter @ Nambucca

Sadly going head-to-head with the Barberettes and Sultan of the Disco at Borderline, the Monotones and Billy Carter will be performing at Nambucca in North London the same evening.

You can also catch the Monotones at The Great Escape in Brighton on 20 May; and Billy Carter will also appearing at London’s Red Room on 26 May.

THE MONOTONES: 10.15 – 11.00

A new band ambitiously formed by the iconic guitarist and songwriter of Korean indie music scene, ‘Cha-Cha’. (Former core member of famous No Brain and The Moonshiners.) The Monotones finally emerged with total of 3 years of preparation, putting all of their musical knowledge and experience worth of 20 years in their first debut album. ‘into the night’ album had been nominated in 3 categories and won ‘the best rock album’ at Korea Music Awards 2016. These successful achievements has provided strong vibe to the band as well as to the music scene. The band has faced a lot of obstacles during the preparation period, all this has been filmed and their documentary movie are scheduled to be in theaters soon.

Brand new rock and roll outfit from former Junkbox frontman Darren van Asten.
