Winner of the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition, the superbly talented Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho joins the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra to perform Chopin’s lyrical first piano concerto. Marios Papadopoulos directs Beethoven’s pioneering ‘Eroica’ symphony; composed during the revolutionary climate of the Napoleonic regime, its heroic scope charged the development of nineteenth-century romanticism.

Concert ends at approx. 10pm including a 15 minute interval.
