Doors from 6pm, screening at 7pm | Book ticketsSYNOPSIS: A couple decide to spend a holiday in Seoul. The wife is an obstetrician and the husband a newspaper reporter. The husband gets a lead on a murder in the city, and leaves his wife to pursue it. His wife, left with his colleagues, is told untrue stories about his behaviour away from home. She helps a pregnant woman at her hospital. The pregnant woman turns out to be the wife of the criminal the husband is pursuing.
Holiday in Seoul is one of the earliest romantic comedies from Korea. It will be screened at the London Cinema Museum, the building where Charlie Chaplin once lived as a child.
This screening is organised to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Korean cinema in partnership with Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korean Film Archive.
