A Midsummer Night's Jinro

In partnership with HiteJinro, the London East Asia Film Festival brings to London The K-Factor, a night of K-pop and an unlimited Soju Bar for one night! Join us at the Piano Works on Sunday 23 June for a Midsummer Night’s Jinro!

A unique opportunity for anyone who loves singing. London East Asia Film Festival together with Jinro, bring you the opportunity to participate in the K-Factor singing competition.

All you need to do to enter the contest is to share a short clip of you singing in Korean on Instagram, and tag us in it. 10 contestants will be selected to participate in the final competition on the 23rd of June.

The deadline for the contest is Sunday the 16th of June
The shortlist will be announced on Monday the 17th of June
Final K-Factor will take place on Sunday the 23rd of June

Please make sure you can attend the event on the 23rd of June before entering the competition

6pm: Doors Open
7pm: K-Factor

  • Perform a Korean song (with a guitar/piano/MR track) for our judges and the audience to win the grand prize!
  • Enjoy and cheer on the best acts if you are not performing

8pm: K-pop Night, Sing Along with DJ Mochi
All Night: Learn to mix soju at the Somaek Bar!

** Please note, All attendees must be 18+ and bring photographic ID. The ticket does not guarantee entry if you do not bring ID.

K-CINEMA 100 brings films to special venues around London’s landmarks that match the genre or narrative of the film with the venue. Face Reader will be screened at the National Portrait Gallery on 21st June. The series will continue in July. Please check www.leaff.org.uk for more information!
