Song in Whitehall

SONG’s Art in UK by SONG Ginyoung (송)

To further broaden my life, I left Korea, having graduated with an MA degree in Environment Sculpture. My journey to Calgary, Yellowknife in Canada then Yosemite onto LA enabled me to present my artwork even on my Air B&B boat. Moving onto Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida, I created my artwork along the way.

In London, I have found the colours and passions I have been yearning for and was mesmerised by London’s rich history and vibrancy.

As the Lunar New Year exhibition perked up the spirit of the dark and melancholic January in the UK, after Christmas and New Year, my artwork of FLOWERS and Dolls, sings to the audience of our lives and nature, linking the past to the present, from The Tudors to Korean Contemporary at the Whitehall.

My artwork is myself and yourself. As fading flowers give way to another birth, the seeds, my work, SONG in Whitehall is the song of life and the world. I hope my work gives you courage to live your own lives.
