
Here are the April events that I know of. The list will be updated as and when I hear of the KCC’s plans.
Classical Music
- KoWoon Yang makes her Wigmore debut on 3 April
- Han-na Chang plays at the Festival Hall on 7 April
- The KNUA String Quartet compete in the London International String Quartet Competition commencing 1 April.
Visual arts, crafts and design
- The KCC’s exhibition of designs inspired by Hangeul continues all month
- An exhibition of work in glass by three Korean artists at the Cochrane Theatre opens on 1 April, lasting all month
- The exhibitions of works by Sea-hyun Lee and Dae-hun Kwon finish in the first week of April
- Being and Nothingness at Nolias Gallery continues until just before Easter
Film
- The Old Justice film club meets in Bermondsey on Thursdays
- Weekly documentary screenings continue at the KCC on Saturdays
- Hansel and Gretel gets a UK DVD release on 6 April from Terracotta Films
- The twice-monthly Thursday film screenings at the KCC will no doubt continue in April
- Terracotta films screens Kim Ji-woon’s Tale of Two Sisters on 21 April at the Prince Charles
