This soprano concert performed by Prof. Tae-Yeon Kim, one of our international members, has been organized by the Rotary Club of Hampstead to raise funds for the Marie Curie Hospice and the Rotary Foundation charity (most of whose funds are allocated to the campaign to end polio).
Those interested in finding out more about the Rotary Club of Hampstead are welcomed to join us for our regular Tuesday meetings from 7:30 pm at the Retsina Restaurant, Belsize Village.

Professor Tae-Yeon Kim is a graduate of Mokwon University, Korea and of the Koeln Musik Hochschule Vocal and Opera School, Germany. She has appeared at the Muenchen National Theatre, in Siena, Savona, Salzburg, Locarno, the Sion Music Festival, and in Master Classes; and is a member of the Korea National Opera Theatre.
Professor Kim has played the lead role in Operas including Madam Butterfly, La Boheme, La Traviata and Rigoletto:she has been the soloist in many Oratorios and Cantatas and has sung in Duo Abend, Lieder Abend and many Gala Concerts.
She is a professor of music at Hoseo University, Director of the Prima Opera Company, a member of the Board of directors of the Korea Schubert Association and Head of the International Arts Centre in Korea.
She has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Korea for 2 years, and she is currently in London, as a visiting professor at the Munich Musikhochschule in Germany and at the Guildhall School of Music with Professor Laura Sarti.
