Chuseok, a traditional Harvest Moon festival, is held on the 15th day of the Eighth Moon
in the lunar calendar, as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.
This is a family occasion when Koreans visit their hometowns, enjoy a traditional Korean meal
and pay respect to their ancestors and perform traditional dances.
Ganggangsullae – traditional Chuseok dance
There will be a presentation on Chuseok traditions,
Hangul, and a film about modern Korea.
