I’m sure you’ve all heard about this from sources more K-pop focused than LKL, but just in case…

K-pop World Festival 2014


The chance to perform on stage to tens of thousands, shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the best idols in K-Pop, could all be yours with the KBS K-Pop World Festival. Last year, the winners at the festival in Korea won $10,000 each for singing and dancing their way to the world final event.

Held for the first time ever at the £25 million DSTRKT London, the city’s most exclusive venue that has hosted top stars like Will Smith, Rihanna and Jay-Z, the London Final offers an amazing stage for singers and dancers alike to showcase their talent to the world.

Admission to watch the event is FREE!
And so is the all-age After-Party!

14:00-16:30 K-pop Contest Performances & performance by professional dance team
16:30-18:00 K-pop party with special guest DJ
Location: DSTRKT Club, 9 Rupert Street, W1D 6DG, London
Admission: Free, but must RSVP to [email protected]
Contest Entry: Application form attached. Entrants must be non-Korean and over the age of 16. Applicants must upload a video of their cover to YouTube and then fill out the application form. Less than 10 teams will be selected for the Regional Round at DSTRKT.

Prizes: Finalists (1 vocal and 1 dance team) will qualify to be flown out to Korea for the official finals and to perform on the same stage as some of the top idol groups. Some of last years idol performances included; EXO, Miss A, Infinite and B.A.P. This year’s guests are: A-Pink, UKISS, Girl’s Day, Infinite and BEAST’s Doojoon. Finalists will also receive small gifts.
