Glittering Hands

Sang-kuk and Kyung-hee, who are both deaf, fall in love, marry and raise a family. Their hearing children, Bora and Kwang-hee move between two worlds – one of silence and the other of sound.

Bora Lee-Kil’s fascinating and tender film is an intimate portrait of her parents and the experiences of CODAs – children of deaf parents.

We are delighted to welcome Bora Lee-Kil to introduce and discuss her film.
