At an early age the young American violinist won success in several international competitions before taking part between 2014 and 2016 in the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist scheme. Here she is partnered by a South Korean pianist who has achieved similar prominence, notably with a gold medal at the Van Cliburn Competition in 2017. Their programme runs from Viennese classics to Richard Strauss, and includes a couple of rarely heard transcriptions.
