An annual celebration since 2018 (though I think there was an inevitable hiatus last year), this year’s Korea Day in Sheffield is on 12 March: We hear that the Shilla ensemble will be among the performers.

Korea Day is a yearly event organised by the University of Sheffield Korea Society to celebrate all things Korean from traditional food to contemporary performances. We’re putting on a fun-filled day of live performances, tasty foods and unique experiences. This year Korea day has been created with the help of Kpop dance society, Korea studies department and the Korean council to help bring Korean culture to Sheffield. We have prepared many activities for the day including:
- Traditional Korean games
- Korean food
- Traditional performances
- Kpop performances
- Hanbok
- Calligraphy
- Korean snacks
- And much more
Korea day will be Saturday 12th March 2022 @ The Octagon Centre, Sheffield.
Booths will be open 12:00pm- 17:00pm and performances will be from 13:00pm-17:00pm.
