The 24th Udine Far East Film Festival is under way and runs till 30 April. During that time, the following movies are accessible online in the UK and have English subtitles:

  • Tomb of the River (dir YOON Youngbin, 2021, 89 mins). A grim and punishing noir where a beach resort sparks a fierce and bloody turf war between rival gangsters. Available 23 April only
  • Hostage: Missing Celebrity (dir: PIL Gam-sung, 2021, 94 mins) Star Hwang Jung-min is kidnapped after a premiere. He tries desperately to escape but the clock is ticking and reality is more cruel than any film. Available until 30 April
  • KIM Jong-boon of Wangshimni (dir: KIM Jin-yeoul, 2021, 102 mins) Ms. Kim’s stall has been a small, welcoming gathering place for 50 years. Kim continues to imagine the world that her daughter, an activist who died in a demonstrations, had dreamed of. Available until 30 April
  • Perhaps Love (dir: CHO Eun-ji. 2021, 113 mins) Writer Kim has no end of problems, from sentimental issues to professional failure, and a happy ending seems unlikely. But… Available until 30 April
  • Special Delivery (dir: PARK Dae-min, 2022, 108 mins) Need to move something hot? Eun-Ha guarantees 100% success! But her life is put at risk by a policeman who is ready to do anything to retrieve a password from a child. Available until 30 April
