Coinciding with Frieze Week, three Korean artists are involved in major projects in London: the 23rd Serpentine Pavilion was designed by Minsuk Cho (7 June – 27 Oct); the Hayward Gallery exhibition ‘Leap Year’ by Haegue Yang opens on 9 October, and Tate Modern’s Hyundai Commission Artist Mire Lee is unveiled on the same day. Marking the occasion, the KCCUK will host ‘Korean Art, Now’, a special event during Frieze London, inviting artists, curators, and industry figures to discuss Korean arts and culture as we celebrate the unprecedented gathering of Korean artists in major London galleries.
