This double-bill screening features films from South Korean and Hong Kong filmmakers, presenting stories of chance / destined connections against the backdrop of London, a foreign land at once connected and removed from the protagonists’ homelands.

Chinese words 緣 and 連, meaning ‘fate’ and ‘connection’ respectively, correspond to Korean syllables both written as ‘연’.

The event will be followed by a Q&A and a refreshment chit-chat.
