The culmination of the 2011 International Conductors' Academy of the Allianz Cultural Foundation, with performances from exceptionally talented conductors on the brink of their professional careers.
This concert marks the culmination of the 2011 International Conductors' Academy of the Allianz Cultural Foundation, an annual joint initiative of the Allianz Cultural Foundation, the Philharmonia and London Philharmonic orchestras and Southbank Centre, which offers intensive mentoring and training to exceptionally talented conductors on the brink of their professional careers. Previous participants have included Gustavo Dudamel.
This evening's programme features all three conductors and has been designed to showcase their skills and to offer audiences the chance to witness the stars of the future making their Royal Festival Hall debuts.
