The DPRK Youth Para-Ensemble makes its second UK appearance:
DPRK Youth Para-Ensemble UK Concert Tour 2017
DULA International is a UK charity (CHARITY NO. 1166701) dedicated to the promotion of disability welfare and the improvement of living conditions of people with disabilities in North Korea. Founded in 2012, DULA has been collaborating with the KFPD (Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled) since its beginning.
As part of efforts to actively support and promote growing social integration for people with disabilities in North Korea, DULA is organising its second DPRK Youth Para-Ensemble Concert Tour, which will see the delegation visit the UK from 24th May to 1st June 2017.
The first tour, which took place in 2015, marked the first North Korean disabled group perform outside the DPRK; since then, a ripple effect of positive awareness towards disability has been working throughout North Korea. Our first tour had been monumental in creating a shift in attitude towards disability in the DPRK and we hope to carry on this progressive trend.
