Seoullites can now see the play performed in a new Korean language version entitled 이건 로맨스가 아니야 at the National Theatre of Korea, 2 – 18 June 2017. Details here.
I think it’s fair to say that some London Koreans didn’t warm to the play back in 2009 because of the subject matter. It will be interesting to see how it is received in Seoul eight years on. I hope it is welcomed. It deserves to be. Apart from this Korean translation it also had a radio adaptation for BBC Radio 4.
