In January last year Sokeel Park from the NGO Liberty in North Korea gave a talk at Chatham House about the younger generation of entrepreneurs in North Korea, and other ways in which society is inexorably changing. Somewhere I’ve still got my notes and the handout from that talk – which I probably won’t get around to writing up. But instead, here’s a documentary he has produced based on interviews with North Korean exiles in Seoul, which presents some of the themes.
