January events 2021

January events
Centre: E.J. (Eunji) Koh

It’s often the case that January is a little dry on the cultural front, and this year that’s particularly true. We have look to the Korea Society in New York and Royal Asiatic Society, Korea Branch, in Seoul for online offerings that will supplement our diet.

Think of it as an opportunity to make inroads into that reading pile (some recommendations here), or to catch up on all those TV dramas you’ve been meaning to watch for ages.

At the moment the forward diary is looking pretty empty, but we know that there are things being planned and let’s hope things start getting back to normal in the coming months.

  1. Not a comment but rather, wishes for a happy 2021 to LKL. I’m long overdue for a trip to London, and I hope I’ll be able to attend some Korean events on my next visit. Na Hoon-a at the Albert Hall would be my dream event, but I can just dream on.

    1. Thank you Michael. A nice dream!
A couple of years ago someone with deep pockets had an idea of bringing over Cho Yong-pil, but the moment I think has passed…
Have a good year and do get in touch if you come to London.
